User Group
Hi all UK clarion users, its been a very long time coming, but the wheels
are now in motion.
As you may know. Capesoft are having a World-Wide-Webshop in October @ the
New Place, Southampton. Details of this webshop can be found here

On the eve of the conference, I am organising a user group meeting. I so
much wanted to call it a Clarion Code Camp, but apparently code camps happen
at the weekend, and, well, this will be on Wednesday 6th October in the
evening, so I guess I have to drop that. The event will take place from 7pm
until 11-11.30pm. Because the event itself will be sponsored, there will be
no entrance fee to the event, however I am organising a dinner buffet to be
serverd during the event and the New Place have quoted me £13.50 per head
for this. Liquid refreshments will be available at the bar.
Noyantis (http://www.noyantis.com/) have kindly offered to help sponsor the
event, however I'm on the lookout for other sponsors for the event. If you
can help, just give me a shout.
I'm also in need of volunteers that would like to present during the
evening. Presentations will be in 1/2 hour - 1 hour slots, so if you would
like to come along and present during the evening then please contact me
with details of what you would like to present. A user group meeting without
presenters wouldn't be that good at all <bg>.
Finally, although I intend for the event to be free, I will need to get a
clear indication of attendees. Please email me if you are going to attend.
UPDATE
Attendees will be able to use the new place promotion code that has been published on the
Capesoft website in order to book a room for the night at a
discounted price.
Its been a very long time since we have had an event, and I hope to make
this one a great success, and hope for many more.
